Study Status

Allen County preliminary DFIRMs were issued on September 29, 2006. An Open House meeting was held on January 24, 2007, followed by a 90-day appeal period that ended on August 29, 2007. The Letter of Final Determination (LFD) has not yet been issued for the county, as comments are still being accumulated and reviewed. It is estimated that the LFD will be issued in December 2007, which would result in an effective date of approximately May 2008 for the final DFIRMs.
